Hello! This will be our last blog post for the school year and we just wanted to say a few things! Good Luck to all of the Lucky Ducks who will be going to Kindergarten in the Fall. We wish you all the best! We know you will do great! To all of our other friends who will be coming back next year, we look forward to seeing you in September! Once Upon A Time...

 WEDNESDAY IS OUR END OF THE YEAR PARTY!

Once Upon A Time, There Were Some Lucky Ducks...
For the rest of the year, we will be looking at some classic fairy tales and variations of them. We will look at the classic version of Goldilocks and the Three Bears.

Theme Concepts:
-Fairy tales are made up stories.
-In fairy tales, there are happy endings.
-Characters in fairy tales can be people or other things that do not usually speak (animals)
-Fairy tales can be told differently so there are many versions of the same story.

Small Groups:
Art- Students will cut and glue the pieces of a bear
Mathematics-Bear Counting and coloring.
Literacy- Students will sequence a picture story the classic Goldilocks book.
Mathematics- Completing a picture pattern with characters from the story
Mathematics- Matching the objects from the story to their character by size

Choice Time:
Sensory Table- sand and seashells
Table - Puzzles
Writing- Making story books
Rug – large legos
Dramatic Play – Back by popular demand, The Donut Shop!
Science- Taking care of our class sunflower garden
