Unit 2


This week we have a half day on Wednesday. The morning session will run the usual time and there will be no school on Wednesday afternoon.  School will remain closed on Thursday and Friday for Thanksgiving.Happy Thanksgiving!






Story of the Week:

Dandelion – Don Freeman


Small Groups:
-Writing –Student will create a grocery list for Thanksgiving
-Math – Students will match numerals from a dice to a picture of ‘Dandelion’
-Math – Students will play money Bingo
-Literacy – Students will complete a positional book, “Where’s the turkey?”


Choice Time:
-Dramatic Play – Our grocery store is now open. The students will take turns playing different roles of customer, cashier, bagger and stock person.
-Sensory Table- Molding sand to make a variety of sand castles
-Writing- making stationary and sending letters to friends
-Library- Books about friendship
-Rug – Lincoln logs
-Art Table – Finger painting
