Gingerbread Man – Week 2


We are continuing our Gingerbread unit this week. Our Lucky Ducks will be very busy creating props for our upcoming play. They have created their own version of the Gingerbread Man to perform for our families on December 22. It is important that everyone arrives on time, as this will be a brief preschool performance.

We are reading multiple versions of the Gingerbread Man, boy and girl and beginning to introduce some variations of this story such as The Stinky Cheese Man and The Pancake Man.

Tracing, cutting and decorating gingerbreads

Gingerbread Letters - Students will make letters A-E

Finger painting the backgrounds for our play

Gingerbread positional book - Students will place the gingerbread men in relation to the fox.



Choice Time

Students will make their own props for our play.

Sweet Shop – making gingerbread cookies with playdough
